Eleanor MacMillan

Supporting your studies, enhancing your experience

Why do you want to run for this position?

I have a strong passion for helping others be successful and achieve their goals. However, I have witnessed academic frustration across all faculties. From a creative perspective, having strong academic support is the foundation for personal growth.

What would your priorities be if you were elected?

  • I believe stronger communication channels between students and staff are needed.
  • A stronger utilisation of the careers+ department.
  • Interaction between year groups for support and/or collaborations.

What skills and experience do you have that would make you a good Officer?

I have served as a Course Rep for two years, and I am the current Fashion and Textiles School Rep, focusing on empowering the student feedback system. Working at the Eagle & Ball pub has heightened my interactions with students across all faculties.
