We're looking for an experienced Sales & Events specialist to join our Marketing & Communications Team at BCUSU. This vacancy will make significant impact to our organisation as we aim to engage over 27,000 Birmingham City University students with our on campus events.

As a Sales & Events Coordinator, you will be providing maternity cover in a role that generates income through in person events (such as campus fairs, events and activations) and digital marketing.  

Principle purpose of job:

  • Responsible for generating new income streams
  • Building relationships with staff and key stakeholders at all campuses, initiating campus specific events and activations
  • Maintain sales practices and financial records to a high standard

Hours

35 hours per week

 

Contract type

Fixed term, maternity cover until November 2025 (approx)

 

Salary

£29,991 - £34,383

 

Location and times of work

City Centre and City South sites with the expectation to work anywhere across BCU campuses as required
