Enlightening Ramadan at BCU is an educational and community event that bridges understanding of Ramadan whilst promoting wellbeing across our university community. The event unites university leadership, scholars, staff, and students in fostering an inclusive dialogue about Ramadan in academic life.

16:15 - Welcome from Dr Salim Khan, Head of College

16:20 - Quran recitation and translation

16:30 - Opening remarks from Muhammad Asad (Muslim Chaplain) - Ramadan in Contemporary Society: Balancing Academic Life with Spiritual Growth 

17:05 - BCUSU speech from Shoukat Mehsud, VP Academic Experience

17:15 - Staying fit and healthy during Ramadan guide from Dr Ayazullah Safi

17:35 - Interactive Q&A - Myths and realities of Ramadan with BCU Islamic Society
