Societies are the ultimate way to meet other BCU students and make friends at university.

To give you the best opportunity at finding the right societies for you, we're hosting Give It A Go month from Monday 23rd September - Sunday 20th October.

How do I take part?

Check out society events (workshops, meet-ups, classes and socials) on our What's On page.
Give it a Go - attend events and meet other society members, no need to buy a membership!
Follow the month on socials. All our societies are student-led, the best way to contact them and find out about future events might be on social media

National African-Caribbean Society (ACS) Conference: 28th May 10am - 29th May 5pm; Curzon Building; On 28th May, NUS UK, in partnership with Birmingham City University and the African and Caribbean Students Network, will hold a National African-Caribbean Society (ACS) Conference.

BCU Africa Day Fair: 28th May 11am - 2pm; Seacole Atrium, City South Campus; Drop in to meet with organisations, businesses and community groups and explore cultural displays.
