Mayoral Hustings

Meet candidates for West Mids Mayor ahead of local elections
Wednesday 24 April 2024 3pm - 5pm Aston SU, 8 Coleshill St, B4 7BX
Mayoral elections - Candidate Hustings Event

Sadly, due to unforeseen circumstances, the Mayoral Hustings has been cancelled.

We apologise for the inconvenience, but also wish to extend an open invitation for any interested student to join us in C455 today from 4pm - 6pm for an alternative event - where we will cover each candidates' manifesto - and give you the chance to ask them questions directly.

FREE pizza and drinks will be provided to anyone who comes along!

Not sure who’s running for West Midlands Mayor, or who to vote for?

You'll have the chance to listen to candidates, ask them questions on how they'll improve the student experience in Birmingham and get a better picture of who to vote for!

What is a husting?

A meeting where election candidates or parties debate policies and answer questions from the audience. Hustings provide voters with an opportunity to hear the views of candidates or parties.
